Breast Augmentation Sizes – A Woman’s Choice

The idea of a woman getting breast augmentation is no longer surprising.  You may tell your friend over lunch you are thinking of going up a size, and she will barely look up from her Cobb salad as you fill her in on the details.

Cosmetic surgery, and breast augmentation in particular, has become increasingly common in our society.  Women of all ages and backgrounds are walking in with whatever nature bestowed upon them and walking out with a saline or silicone miracle that they can’t wait to show off in a tube top.

So it goes without saying that few of us are surprised by the number of fake breasts walking around these days.

What is sometimes surprising is the breast augmentation sizes that are being chosen by ordinary women (not just those with a film career.)

Before scheduling surgery, every woman has a consultation with her doctor where they sit and discuss breast augmentation sizes.  The options available for breast augmentation sizes are many, and settling on the right one for you may take some time.

You may leave the doctors office a bit unsure, and decide to spend a few days trying out different breast augmentation sizes in the form of prosthetics – or at least bra stuffing.  At some point, every woman makes her mind up about her desired cup size, and she and the doctor can finally set a date.

Sometimes the breast augmentation sizes chosen by women are quite shocking.  A petite woman with a natural A-cup may decide she wants to be a DD-cup.  While her doctor will no doubt suggest a more appropriate cup-size for her frame, there may be no convincing her.

She may even have to go through more than one surgery, in which her breast augmentation sizes are gradually increased, until the skin on her little body will finally accommodate her new breasts.  It seems like a lot to go through just to stand out in a crowd, but its a woman’s prerogative.  In modern times, breast size is not decided by genetics – it is decided by an unsatisfied woman and her surgeon.

Be Prepared – Breast Augmentation Recovery Unveiled

In the world of cosmetic surgery, breast augmentation has become a routine procedure.

You are confident in your doctor’s skill because four of your friends went to him last year, and he did eight surgeries just last week.

Now that you have scheduled your own breast augmentation surgery, you spend your time shopping for new clothes and looking forward to bathing suit season.

It may be a good idea to back up just a bit.

You have spent time thinking about and planning the surgery, even spending a couple of hours consulting with your doctor and looking at computer-generated previews of your new figure.

You have also spent time thinking about how great you will look and feel when your enhancement is complete.Perhaps you haven’t spent quite enough time thinking about the part in between – breast augmentation recovery.Even under the care of the most skilled doctor, and if the surgery is a complete success, there is a lot to think about when it comes to breast augmentation recovery.

You will likely have to take medication during your breast augmentation recovery, which some women are sensitive to.  It is a good idea to discuss this with your doctor before surgery.

Ideally, breast augmentation recovery will be short, and you will feel just days after your surgery, but experts recommend waiting at least two weeks before engaging in any kind of exercise, longer if you are experiencing any discomfort near the site of the procedure.

Breast augmentation recovery will no doubt mean breast sensitivity, even redness of the skin and a feeling similar to a sunburn.  This is due to the stretching of your skin to accommodate the new size of your breasts.  Massaging the breasts and/or using creams like shea butter and cocoa butter may help, but it is a good idea to discuss this with your doctor prior to surgery.  This stretching of the skin may cause it to look abnormally shiny as well, but as you recover, your skin will relax and your skin will go back to normal.

Arm Yourself With Breast Augmenation Information

If you ever find yourself in the position of considering cosmetic surgery, the most important thing is make sure you are well informed.

Deciding to have surgery, choosing from the myriad of options that are offered, minimizing the risks, making a healthy recovery – it all depends on having all the information you need beforehand.

Deciding on breast augmentation is certainly no exception.  It is essential that you do your homework.

Find as much breast augmentation information as possible. To be sure, the best source of breast augmentation is your doctor.  Do not be afraid to ask every little question you can think of.

You don’t want to realize after surgery that you wish you had asked something before you went under anesthesia.

Getting the breast augmentation information you need requires more than knowing what cup size you want, although that does deserve some discussion.  Perhaps the cup size you think you want may not be the best option for you.  Your doctor can help you decide.  But you need to know a lot more than cup size.

When collecting breast augmentation information, be sure to find out as much as possible about your doctor himself (or herself.)  How long have they been practicing medicine?  How long have they focused on cosmetic surgery, what kind of surgeries do they perform regularly, and how many breast augmentations have they done?

What is the cost of the surgery?  What are the risks and possible complications?  How can risks be minimized, or complications remedied?  What should you do to prepare for breast augmentation, and what to expect during recovery?

While some may tell you that the next best source of breast augmentation is the internet.  True, you can find information on anything online.

The web is certainly the most vast source of information, but a better source of useful breast augmentation information may be other women who have already had it.

Their experience can be the best thing to prepare you and help you make informed decisions.  They can recommend doctors and give you insights into the mental, emotional and physical aspects of this experience.

Breast Augmentation Cost – Still An Arm And A Leg?

Some have termed this the information age, but looking around it seems it should be more aptly named the surgical age.

Not too long ago, cosmetic surgery was primarily a set of procedures performed out of medical necessity, or to improve the basic quality of life.

Rhinoplasties, commonly known as nose jobs, were done to repair broken noses and deviated septums – to improve, not the person’s appearance, but their ability to breathe.

Pretty important, right?

Breast augmentation was a merciful re constructive option for cancer patients undergoing mastectomies, not so they could have their dream-breasts, but so they could have breasts and still feel like a woman after the devastating news that cancer had taken over.  And these surgeries were very expensive, perhaps part of the reason they were not done for strictly cosmetic purposes.

Nowadays, things have changed.  Breast augmentation cost, for example, has gone down dramatically to the point where ordinary women are scheduling surgery so they can look better in a tank top.

This does not mean, however, that everyone can afford the breast augmentation cost.  If cosmetic surgery is on your to-do list, there are some things you should be aware of.

Looking for the lowest breast augmentation cost may not always be the best option.  The expense of surgery can vary widely.   Breast augmentation cost will depend on the area you live in, the skill and experience of your surgeon, what type of surgery is performed, the anesthesia involved, as well as whether your doctor operates in a hospital or in his office.

So, what does breast augmentation cost?  The total is actually broken down into various factors involved.  There is the cost of the implants themselves (which will vary depending on the type and size of the implant.)  Then there is the cost of anesthesia, the fee charged by the hospital or facility, and the fee paid to the surgeon himself.  This brings the total breast augmentation cost to somewhere between $4000 and $10,000, which is far less than what it would have cost years ago, but will still require some careful planning and saving.

Good Breast Augmentation Advice Before Equals Success After

So, you have decided on breast augmentation surgery.  You daydream about looking in the mirror and loving what you see.  You’ve bought a new bikini to show off your new assets.

You have given up $4 cups of coffee every day and saved up thousands of dollars to put toward having the body you’ve always wanted.

You’re all set – but perhaps you should add one more thing to your checklist before you go under the knife.  Get yourself some good breast augmentation advice.

You have no doubt sat down with your doctor and gone through the options, the cost, the recovery, etc.  He or she probably gave you some breast augmentation advice, relating to what to do before and after surgery, how to care for your implants, what to expect post-surgery, etc.

True, obtaining and following medical breast augmentation advice is absolutely vital to the success of your procedure.  However, there is another type of breast augmentation advice that is well worth looking for.

Doctors who have experience in performing cosmetic surgeries can tell you everything about the procedure itself – how they do it, how long it takes, what complications can arise, etc.  They can also tell you how to prepare for surgery and how to care for yourself afterward.  But, unless they themselves have gone under the knife, their breast augmentation advice ends there.

The only one who knows what you will experience mentally, emotionally and physically throughout the process is someone who has already had breast augmentation.  Granted, every woman is different and no two surgeries are exactly the same.

Still, having no idea how surgery could affect you emotionally, for example, may mean some unexpected obstacles in the near future.  No doubtsome good experienced-based breast augmentation advice is far better than no advice and will ensure that you are better prepared.

Asking other women what they thought and felt will give you insights no brochure or even your doctor may be able to offer.  Making sure you are completely informed and prepared for the experience is the best way to make sure it is a success.
